What Is The Tire Pressure Standard For Off-road Vehicles?
The standard tire pressure for off-road vehicles can be found on the car, generally 2.5 bar for cold tires and 3.0 bar for hot tires.
1. Tire pressure, strictly speaking, refers to the pressure of the air inside the tire. In terms of car maintenance, the engine is the heart of the car. Damage to the engine will lead to the exhaustion of the car's life. The tire pressure is the blood pressure of the car. The level of tire pressure plays a vital role in the performance and power of the car.
2. Standard air pressure can usually be found in the following places: the vehicle owner's manual, the label next to the cab door (near the B-pillar), the drawer next to the driver's seat of the vehicle, and the fuel tank cap door.
3. The tire pressure should be based on the value recommended by the car manufacturer. This is because the setting of tire pressure mainly takes into account vehicle factors such as the weight of the body and the height of the chassis. It has nothing to do with the brand of tires used.
4. If there are no special regulations from the car manufacturer, no special adjustment is required in winter or summer. It is recommended to measure tire pressure in a normal temperature environment.
5. Usually the recommended tire pressure value refers to the tire pressure measured when the tire is cooled.
6. The tire cooling condition is defined as after parking for at least three hours or after the tire has been driven no more than 2 kilometers. If the tire pressure can only be measured when the tire is warm, subtract approximately 0.3 bar (= 4psi) from the measured tire pressure value to get the tire cooling inflation pressure.
